Nside-64 downgraded copies (K_CMB units) of the Planck HFI single-frequency sky maps at 100, 143 and 217 GHz. Used by the frequency-forensics test that shows the asymmetry axis is not a foreground: dirty maps point at the galaxy, cleaned maps do not.

PROVISIONAL
Provenance
upstream source ↗- license / terms
- ESA public archive (originals). The n64 files themselves are locally produced downgrades, not archive products.
- local directory
- /Users/davidthompson/TWO SLITS/boundary_seam/data
- notes
- HONESTY WARNING: these are downgrades of full-resolution originals that were deleted to save disk; fetch_data.sh does NOT regenerate them. Reproducing requires re-downloading the full-res HFI maps from the PLA and hp.ud_grade to nside 64 — the exact original product IDs were not recorded on disk.
Serving, honestly
Downloads are served directly from this server today; an object-storage mirror (Tigris) is planned and flips on via config. The upstream archive is always the canonical copy — cite it, not us. Anything we serve must match its published hash.
