JADES / JWST NIRSpec — redshifts and emission-line fluxes (incl. carbon)
JWST NIRSpec spectroscopy from JADES DR1-DR3: 4,086 targets, 2,730 with spectroscopic redshifts out to z = 13.35, with measured fluxes for C III] 1907/1909 (FCIII), C IV 1548/1550 (FCIV) and the full oxygen set (OII, OIII 4363/4959/5007) — i.e. the ingredients for carbon and C/O abundance work in the first few hundred million years. Acquired to make the "carbon appeared earlier than expected" question testable rather than anecdotal. A first pass over this table independently recovers the landmark detections: C III] at S/N 5.6 in a z = 12.47 source (~350 Myr after the Big Bang) and S/N up to 11.7 in the z = 10.61 source GN-z11. NO CLAIM IS ATTACHED TO THIS DATASET — it is published as library data for work not yet done, and its presence here is not evidence of an unpublished result. Note the tables list each target once per NIRSpec mode (prism and grating), so rows are not unique objects.

No claim in the registry cites this dataset yet. It's catalogued anyway — unused data still gets hashed, and the day a claim leans on it, the provenance is already here.

Serving, honestly
A download link here issues a short-lived redirect to our object-storage mirror (Tigris); the bytes come from there, not from this server, and the link expires after an hour. The upstream archive is always the canonical copy — cite it, not us. Anything we serve must match its published hash.
