eROSITA eRASS1 cluster cosmology sample
5,259 X-ray clusters with position, redshift, temperature and L500 — the sample run_isotropy_battery.py uses for the Migkas-style L_X-T anisotropy cross-check in USR-2026-0039. HONESTY NOTE carried from that analysis: the L-T residual dipole looks significant (p=0.002) but CORRELATES WITH GALACTIC LATITUDE (r=+0.11), i.e. it tracks Milky Way absorption, not cosmology. It is published here as a worked example of an anomaly that dissolves under a systematics check. Half-sky (eROSITA-DE) coverage only.

Used by claims
No claim in the registry cites this dataset yet. It's catalogued anyway — unused data still gets hashed, and the day a claim leans on it, the provenance is already here.

Serving, honestly
Downloads are served directly from this server today; an object-storage mirror (Tigris) is planned and flips on via config. The upstream archive is always the canonical copy — cite it, not us. Anything we serve must match its published hash.
